The majority of the bears harvested are black with about 15% color phase. This is a non-baited spot and stalk hunt in an incredibly scenic area. This outfitter has a great reputation for catering to bow hunters, so it you are a bow hunter and don't want to have to sit over a bait, this is the hunt for you. Rifle hunters and bow hunters both have a very high success rate. The hunt is conducted with boat, atv, truck and on foot. The accommodations are out of both tent camps and cabins. DBBEAR: This outfitter operates in Western Alberta where there is excellent hunting for black, cinnamon and carmel colored black bears. Hunting is done by the spot and stalk method from a jet boat, argo or horses. The success rate on bears is nearly 100% with 100% opportunity on bears up to 8' squared. Hunters can take two bears. | This outfitter runs a highly successful Fall black bear hunt in South central Ontario. Most hunts are conducted over bait with the added opportunity to spot and stalk in the agricultural areas. Hunting takes place during the afternoon and evening hours only. During the morning hours the hunters can take advantage of the fantastic waterfowl and grouse hunting in his area. Hunters can also use this time to take advantage of the great fishing in the surrounding lakes for small mouth bass, lake trout, northern pike and walleye.
