#102 REMOTE MOOSE HUNT IN THE NWT
SNOMOOSE: Hunt the largest single hunting concession in North America on this exciting hunt. Situated to the West of Fort Simpson, NWT and stretching West through the MacKenzie Mountains and touching the Yukon border this extensive hunting concession is home to Alaska/Yukon moose, dall sheep, mountain caribou and mountain goat. To date, there are still areas in this 12,500 square mile concession, that have never been hunted, never seen man and are there to be explored.

The moose in this area have quality genetics that produce moose with wide paddles which span over 60" on a regular basis. Early season moose hunts use the spot and stalk method in large, old burn areas that hold many big bulls at that time of year. By mid September the hunts will move to the Western edge of the concession to concentrate on the rivers where the bulls go to look for cows during the rut.

This outfitter uses helicopters to get his hunters to their hunting areas. This allows you to access areas previously unhuntable because of the lack of landing strips or lakes. Another advantage of the use of helicopters, is that it allows "mature" hunters the ability to extend their mountain hunting careers.

Tired of being "nickled & dimed to death" on hunts? This hunt includes many extras that are usually additional cost on most hunts. The trip includes:
1. Reception in Fort Simpson by outfitter.
2. Air Transportation from Fort Simpson to camp and return.
3. Air transportation to and from hunting camp (via helicopter).
4. Air transportation of trophies to Fort Simpson.
5. All licenses and government trophy fees.
6. Sattelite communications.
7. Full service main camp - includes running water/showers, satellite tv, cook, generator, freezers, etc.
8. Government imposed GST tax.
Combination hunts are also available on a trophy fee basis. Come experience the beautiful MacKenzie Mountains on this 1st class hunt.
