TGOGOAT: This is a great hunt in some awesome country! Our outfitter begins hunting goats on his area in early September. At that time of year the goats are in the high country which makes this hunt a special adventure in some of the most breathtaking high country imaginable. An array of glacier lakes, pine basins and glacier enhanced peaks will be the setting for this fantastic hunt. He also offers a late season hunt that is conducted from the valley bottoms in the month of October. Goats move into their winter range and are glassed and stalked from the valley bottoms. The goats usually have longer hair during this time of the year but even in the early season they are still well-haired due to the colder temperatures in the upper elevations. The goat population in this area is very good and mature billy's range from 9 -10 1/2" . This outfitter has a near 100% harvest opportunity on good mature billy's. Hunters can also add black bear and moose for an additional fee. |

CMOGOAT: This quality outfitter operates a small personalized hunting camp in some of the most scenic, remote, and wild country in northern Canada. This is a true wilderness experience. The landscape is quite rugged with numerous streams, lakes and rivers. The opportunity to take a trophy goat is high, as this area receives no hunting pressure, and he only take a few hunters each year. Hunters need to arrive in good physical condition as some of the hunts can be quite demanding. He has consistently had 100% opportunity on billies averaging 9 inches. This area is one of the most remote in B.C. with fly in access only. Hunters are flown out to one of three camps, where they then hunt on either horseback or foot. It is usually necessary to hike back ino remote areas and utilize spike camps. Hunters want to hunt early for the best weather and later for longer hair. This is a true wilderness experience at its best. |
